In this game I will start by asking a yes/no question about your country. The first person to read it will answer the question in the comment section. The trick to this game is that you CANNOT use the words "yes" OR "no" in your answer. After answering the question, write a yes/no question (not a "wh" question) using "in your country" for the next person. (In your answer don't forget to tell us what your country is.)Example:Q: Do people celebrate Mother's Day in your country?----------------A: Mother's Day is not an official day off from work in the U.S., but most people pamper their moms by buying gifts or treating them to a day of R&R.Q: Does your country have a monarchy?----------------A: We do consider Queen Elizabeth our queen, but she doesn't have any significant power in Canada.Q: Is sushi popular in your country?-----------------Language Note: This game is useful for speaking practice because it encourages learners to broaden their vocabulary and vary sentence structure when giving an answer in English.------------------Let's begin:Q: Do women in your country typically work outside of the home?(Remember, you don't answer this question because it has already been answered in the comments. Answer the question from the last person who left a comment. Make sure you are on the last page of comments before you answer and leave a new question.)
I've just recollected one unpleasant episode. Once 'Die Tageszeitung' called our president the newest 'spud' (Kartoffel) it mean the newest rotter who want to capture the world. After that our president was very offended and has been taken with 'germanophobia'.
Canadians have "Universal Health Care". We don't pay to see a doctor, but we pay for medical services in our taxes. Many companies offer extended insurance to help pay for things like medication and dental work.
Does your country have a friendly relationship with its neighbouring country?
The people in my country usually shop for food daily. We love to eat fresh food. We have a lot of fresh and tasty fruits and vegetables here.
Do people in your country can permit health insurance yourself?
I think this is a repeat question, but I'll answer it anyway. Many Canadians celebrate the commercial "Easter". Kids wake up on Easter morning and look for chocolate eggs and treats hidden by the Easter bunny. Families get together for a big turkey or ham dinner. Some Christians go to church.
Do people in your country usually shop for food daily or is it common to stock up the freezer and pantry?
When I'm thinking about Poles I'm thinking about dirty state, disorderly government, untidy politicians... Everywhere is filth and almost everyone rich guy mess himself up in stink or wash someone's dirty linen in public. Scandal afther scandal after dirty business... :) Anyway, what about dirty Earth? Every year children at chools celebrate the Day of the Earth, 'clean' and decent children go out with the teacher to the wood and pick up the rubbish. The true fact is that only children take care about aught ;)
the people here not thinking of celebrate of earth or another, but me and my family celebrate all time, because we tace care about all, electrical, water, enveronment,...etc.
did people take care about earth in your country?
That's a good question. I'm not 100% sure if apricots grow here in Canada, but I think they do. I'd love to have one right now, but they are not in season.
Did people in your country celebrate Earth hour on Saturday?
