I just found an interesting infographic made by Copyblogger, one of my favorite blogs out there that teaches many useful tips to write good blog posts. This infographic talks about 15 most common grammar mistakes that if we do that, it will make us look silly. Since Copyblogger is written not for people who just start to learn English, I assume that these mistakes are common even among native English writers.
Honestly, I found some words that are listed there sometimes confusing for me like the word 'loose,' 'loss,' 'lose,' and 'lost'. So, how about you? How many confusing words on the infographic that make you feel confused?

@Subhash
Was and were are used in simple past tense form. Was is used for singular subject like I, he,she ,and it. While were is used for plural objects like they, those, these, we. Here, the link if you want to understand it better, Subhash: http://www.englishclub.com/grammar/verb-tenses_past_s.htm

Of course, those mistakes will make you jobless especially if you apply for jobs that require excellent English writing skill whether they are education related jobs or non Education related jobs. I'm sure that companies are more willing to hire a competent employee candidate that knows how to use 'affect' and 'effect'. Even on online job, websites hire writers who have excellent English grammar skill. And those grammar mistakes above definitely will make us look unprofessional, lol
thatis great , man :)
I understood how those mistakes can leave me literally, but how can they make me jobless?! :D
Dear ,
I would like to ask a question with you that , please tell me about use of was and were.
Thanks in anticipation.
