My dear friends! I am proposing the test you know well. In such a test you should find and correct all possible mistakes. On the other hand, you shouldn’t change the structure of the sentence or the vocabulary but you may change the word order if it is wrong.. There may be more than one mistake in each sentence.
Let the deadline be August 24.
Here are the sentences.
- It were much people and not buses on the stop.
- He was laying still on the bed.
- Her perfume smelled dizzily.
- If I had thought I would be laughed on, I wouldn’t say a word.
- I couldn’t come to the yesterday’s party, even if I wanted.
- He raised up from the chair to his guests.
- Having seen his friend, he came toward him.
- He hadn’t noticed her red eyes and didn’t realize she cried.
- I had to do it yesterday, but I was busy by teaching.
- I would appreciate that you tell me that story with details.
- By go there, you double your chances to get a job.
- When the teacher assigned the test for Monday, he remembered it would be the holiday.
- Being heard noise was coming of the worked engine.
- I object him to come in our place.
- There isn’t going nowhere in this small town.
Good luck, my friends!

Comments
Dear Wolf! let me answer your question some later, OK? I have to go now.
Sorryyy, Question Number 10. (not 9)
Dear Teacher Danny
Thanks a lot for your efforts...
At first, sorry for not trying to answer these questions. Won't miss the next one... :)
But, May I ask two questions, please?
Question No. 2 - Why can't we use 'ON' bed? (on top of the bed-covers)
Question No.9- Which is correct, "in details" or "in detail"? Or, both are correct?
Thank you for posting the answers, Teacher Danny. It was helpful.
And I'd like to add. There were 40 mistakes in those 15 sentences. So, if you corrected about 2/3, you know grammar well enough
My dear friends! As I haven't seen any activity here for almost a week, I am posting the correct answers. Of course, you can ask your questions.
Dear Zahra! Laziness is our worst enemy! Ha-ha!
Thanks dear Danny for your precious comment. (I hope that you don't mind me calling you "Danny", do you?)
By the way, I hope to find some time, to work on the corrections once more! Now I am too lazy to work on it. :D
Dear Shoba! Now, the structure of 10 is correct (both sentences), but in the first option there is a mistake in the conditional clause.
Zahra! I have to add. If we use the word BED in such expressions like: go to bed, stay in bed, lie in bed (meaning the place where we rest), we use it without an article. But if we mean a piece of furniture, we use it with an article. For example: We need to buy a new bed.
