  • Wonder full, informatics.. I have listen very first time about this circle.

Thank you so much for sharing.

  • I don't live in this area, Mary. Should I?

  • Hey Eric! welcome back, and thanks again for your comments and interesting stories :)
    Btw, nice new pic profile.

Hey Noas! Thanks for adding that info about world population. Yes, it's clear now that some countries like to 'make babies' more than others hehe

Thank you all for your comments :)

  • I am from that circle, but it's not surprising that half of humanity is from that small circle. Data about world population 2013 clearly shown the reason.

  • Sorry Mary. You know my own toes are buried deep in the California sand while enjoying the fun and sun with an iced tea in my hand.

My best friend here in this state, immigrated from that circle.

Half of the time, only a portion of what he says can be understood through that thick Hindi accent. Still his heart and generosity dwarf that of the average Californian.

Last month, I accompanied Gee and is family to a local Seek Food Festival. This carnivore had so much fun. For a few hours, I forgot about meat and gobbled it down with some of the heavier eaters in the crowd.

The symbolic point of the story is this. Food, fun, and celebration are common for most cultures. "When in Rome, do as the Romans do". For a short time, I was an honorary member of the local Seek community. What was learned broadened my own cultural circle.

Please, don't get me rambling! I have another native friend who married an Indonesian woman. There are so many stories I could write about. I often celebrate the holidays with that man and his lovely little family.

    Good one Mary!

    Take care.

  • In fact, most of our members may be from this area of the world.

  • What a small circle in the whole planet!
    Curious thing.
