I saw Eurovision on TV and I like the beginning,the great show with circus actors.It was really amazing.What about the winner...his song reminds me the ringtone...:) ofcours this kind of show cannot be comparable with high meaning of art,but people send sms and it means that somebody watch it.
I don't know.. I think Eurovision isn't a show for song contest. It have always been a show where organizer country could show off it's capabilities. I think the budget have multiplied every year. Because each country want to be better than the last one was. So in end it will be more and more a show, where the songs are just an additive component. People who watch the show, will be more interested what new stuff they this year have in show. What cool special effects they have in stage and so on. Well I won't comment songs. I didn't listen them so carefully there was something 25 songs and there's no way I could listen them all. I also didn't watch all songs, again too many to watch.
But I must say that the show was cool. Especially those water pools in ceiling. But maybe it was too dandy. Taking in account the current economy recession maybe Russia could have done a better Image to itself by making a cheaper, but still great show.. I'm sure it would be politically more clever to show how well they can deal by saving and and show effectiveness.. other hand also this expensive show was surely good for some companies that dealt with all these equipments build stage and so on.. So it can say it was to help out from the economy recession a little bit, but I'm afraid in long terms it's not the most effective way... And it won't help those economy far away from Moscow. People sure, both in Russia and also outside of Russia think it was just a political act to show the new rise of Russia. Or something like that..
