Doing our jobs as English teachers

Every day as teachers for English language we face a lot of problems in teaching it for students and make it easy to use in home life because a lot of parents didn't accept sometimes our skills and our new methods in teaching it which it make us feel that we are in a hole to satisfy all people who around us from managers and parents . For example when I see many students in third grade don't write in a beautiful writing hand I asked them to write all letters and count lines to have a tidy writing and as you know as learner  coping many times makes our memories for receiving and saving words and meanings  easy to remind or restore many times and without mistakes in reading and writing it . Students were complaining from that and they tell their parents which make them become angry and complain for their kids effort every day in learning it forgetting that the teacher who stay with them and know them more.Aims for teacher here to develop his students but what the real fact here is you have a little time to discover it and you have to gain all successful results in short time.

All teacher have struggles in their careers  but they need time to show their skills.

In conclusion , we have to feel with all teachers in this life and we have to study our kids skills before we make any judgement. All we have responsibility and we have to be responsible for it .

 Thanks for reading it .

  • @Anele ...Thanks dear for useful point of view and really we learn always from our mistakes always but we have problems when others didn't help us to find weakness points in their children and they didn't accept anything we said or their reactions in their homes with these kids completely different with what we use with them in school . So we have help always especially from parents to know that we achieve something good for them .

  • My apology for the long comment......hahaha!

  • Not all kids are skillful and talented.  Some kids are slow learners and some are fast learners.  The job of the teacher is to be able to separate his pupils according to the level of their intelligence.

Most of the time, I handle a heterogeneous class.  But I always see to it that the fast learners are separated from the slow learners.  They should be given separate activities.  Otherwise, the fast learners will get bored from your class and the slow learners will not be able to grasp the essence of true education.

I agree with you when you said that being a teacher is not an easy job.  When a child does not learn a certain skill, the blame always goes to the teacher.

The most disappointing experience for a teacher to encounter is when her co-teacher blames her for passing a poor pupil.  There will always be poor pupils in any school and sad to say, their number is greater than the excellent pupils.  If a teacher has a poor student, he should not blame the last teacher of that student. Instead, he should treat it as a great challenge for him to develop this kid's hidden talent.  Who knows, this kid may bloom in his class.

    Nice topic, Reliance.
