Do you take care food life?
In 1970s, many U.S. people had lifestyle diseases like cancer. heart infarction, brain infarction and obesity, And so The U.S. government made doctors search conditions of sickness and nutrition around the world in the year 1975. In the result, they knew that The U.S. people consumed too much salt, sugar, cholesterol and saturated fatty acid like butter.
The U.S. government felt responsible for their food life and advised people to eat less of the food that caused disease.. And they knew Japanese food is healthy because they are much used pulses and fish. So, they got to eat them more. In the result, the number of fatalities which were caused by lifestyle diseases decreased in the U.S.

They said that the number of deaths due to cancer decreased 17% and the number of the death due to heart infarction decreased 58% in 2011 from 1977.

Dear Jeffrey, Good to know your healthy eating. I don't eat pork. I eat lots of fish and red meat. Also no to fizzy drinks too.
It needs awareness of people. Nowadays, they do eat and consume what they like. Simply they said...

*we will sick when its time
*these are delicious that they can't help to eat

I like eating Japanese food, besides it's healthy, it tastes good for me. I agree with avoid fast food and start eating more healthy food such as fruits and vegetarian. And we need do some exercise everyday. We can consume sugar, salt but not a lot.
actually this topic really worried me lately I'm one of people who don't care about what they eat as long as their weights are normal . Now i'm trying to choose healthy food as i can and avoid unhealthy food but it's not easy to be honest because of all the temptations. the interesting thing i found myself love many kinds of healthy food that I thought I hate it .
