And yes the horses name was Tuesday.

there are 7 members in the family....mom, dad, 4 daughters and one son who is the only brother of those 4 daughters.

If we are talking about her children, his children and their children, then maybe it must be like this;
Mom has 4 daughters - Dad has 4 daughters - Mom and Dad has 2 sons, so 12 people in the family?
