In a recent 'Dayne's Dictionary' post, We looked at the word 'snooze' as a noun or as a verb eg. "I like to snooze in the morning" (verb) or "I like to have a snooze in the morning" (noun)
We can also use snooze, as a noun, to describe the button on our alarm clocks and phone alarms that enable us to do the verb from which it get its name. The snooze button! As a big fan of a nice long sleep, I am guilty of hitting snooze on my iPhone's alarm. As a result I've had to rush to get to the office on time.

Peppo, I used to do that! But I guess my sleeping pattern changed
I snooze at least three times until I totally awake. I set at least five alarms on my mobile every morning because I am a deep sleeper, lol xD
BUT, it will more than an hour, can I call that snooze? :D
The reason is when I am sleepless and slept too late the night before. And I can't take a nap. :)

setareh, you could set you alarm early and hit snooze! Apparently that's not effective.

It sure is! Behaviorists should definitely consider it as one of their negative reinforcement examples.
Dear Dayne,
I also hit the snooze button three or four times some mornings and get late for my classes. During my classes also sometimes I snooze. :)
