Discipline and Obedience

By discipline and obedience we understand that the training which makes us active in accordance with certain prescribed rules and in implicit obedience to the order of a superior authority in general and especially to our creator because He enjoys the most supreme authority on all His creations, (living and nonliving).

Complete obedience, without questioning the propriety or the commands of the superiorest, is thus an essential factor of discipline and submission. Every civilized society rests upon the solid foundation of discipline for without it there would be no order or regularity but only chaos and disorder. It is, therefore, has the utmost importance to us to follow this rule of discipline and obedience in all spheres of life at home, in school, colleges, universities, workplaces and in public life.

No home, if it is to be peaceful and happy can afford to be without discipline. A home in which there is no discipline among its members, where everyone acts according to their own whims without paying any heed to the authority or the head of the family, can know no peace. Disorder, confusion and quarrels prevail in such a home and sooner or later such family is sure to break up.

I'm sorry for my belated comment. Sometimes, I need much time to share my opinion on a heavy blog. :)

This words "Complete obedience, without questioning...." I doubt to agree with this.... Sometimes, learning and knowing the reason is preferable to make a perfect/ steady obedience. Thank you for sharing this. :)

Discipline and obedience are depending by attitudes, restraint and self-controlling. If we can improve those things properly,then discipline and obedience will become automatically.Very interesting blog.Thanks for sharing your great thoughts.

We all need rules in the midst of all this chaos. I agree that in the end it all boils down to the kind of rules and leader we follow. We can never go wrong with a leader that comes from Love, and that is from our creator who created us because He loved us first. Nice words Mishaikh! :)
