Did globalization make the world better?

Advanced countries have insisted that globalization makes the world better. The concept of globalization is that we remove national borders so that we can easily go and live anywhere we want  and share the  same rules  and  systems worldwide. They insist that this concept promotes economic efficiency and revitalizes the economy because people and goods can be easily moved.

However, not a few people in those countries have protested against that insistence in the past few years. They realized that globalization only brought huge profits to some big international companies. They realized that they had their jobs taken away because such companies moved their factories to other countries where labor costs were lower and because many immigrants who worked for low wages came to their countries. They also worried about the deterioration of security and the loss of their own culture due to immigrants.

  • Your topic is very interesting but to me  it seems like you require more points to elaborate for better feedback on the topics. However,  what I understand and like to share my thoughts that under developing countries require foreign investment to reduce rate of unemployment and enhance foreign reserve.

    • Hello, Arif. Thank you for your comment. Globalization helps developing countries grow due to foreign investment.  It is ironic that advanced countries promote globalization but some people in these countries lose their jobs while some labors in developing countries get a job.
