Dahab - an amazing place to outlive the winter.

Many years have passed, but sometimes we want to make our sleep a bit longer so far, and it is not just a sleep, it is also a suddenly finished summer. There are really lots of places where you can bask in the sun. Today we will tell you about one of the most interesting and accessible variants.

1. Just one mention of the trip to Egypt makes many people to remember the sad consequences of "all inclusive". Other people have a nostalgia for the first travels abroad, photos "I am on the camel against a background of the Pyramids" and plaster figurines of the Pharaohs. But let's leave the rivers of alcohol and hills of food on the smorgasbords in hotels. And go to the place where there are all we need to relax before the long winter and above all calmness and comfort. Today we will tell you about Dahab. This is a tiny town, which located on the beach of the Red sea. One of the first it opened its doors for the tired people of the big cities. For the people who love extreme sports and freedom.

2. Hidden from the world by the Sinai Mountains Dahab could avoid becoming one of the favorite touristic places in Egypt. Of course, now you can see the seafront nearby the old town with its hotels, restaurants, banks and markets. And now camels with their cameleers have turned into some sights living across the road. Although just a few years ago they were only inhabitants here.

3. But on the whole, the air of freedom from "goods" and fuss of the civilization has been saved. There is everything you need to dissolved in an atmosphere of an absolute calmness to comprehend the power of the surrounding nature of the East. No wonder that exactly this blown by the winds and washed by warm sea cosy corner has became one of the first places where lots of idleres have gone.

4. As you can guess, Dahab doesn't have an airport. Probably, because of it Dahab remains the calmest and cosiest resort in Egypt. The nearest place where you can land is the airport in Sharm-El-Sheikh. It is located about a hundred kilometers from Dohad. A visa that costs 25$ you can get in the airport. It means that you have to have just a passport and an airplane ticket. By the way, Dahab is one of these places where you can blow in without booking. Especially if you are not going to stay in a hotel, but ready to live in a camping or rent a house. It is widespread here. And you can easily decide a question of staying with facilities just for 7-20$ a day. The friendly local residents will help you with any questions. They knew why people run away from cities in this oasis of calmness.

5. Here you can taste really delicious fast-food with Falafels, traditional east sweets, very cheap fruits and vegetables with different shapes and colours.

6. Strange as it may seem, but pursuit of the wind is closely related to diving into the underwater world. It is not just because the small town and the both of these communities live in the water, just inside and out. The sated tourists by the underwater beauties can do kite surfing. The wind in the Egypt part of the Gulf of Aqaba almost never fall due to great relief. So it's not stifling here, as in other parts of the country.

7. The width of the channel is not too wide, so you can't find any storms on the shore of Dahab. That explans why so many people come here from whole world. For these guys who aren't successful in kite surfing, think it is difficult to speak with foreign instructors and afraid of falling on sharp reefs shouldn't worry because there are some of Russian surf stations here and the bottom of the sea is sandy.
