vandalism |ˈvandlˌizəm| noun
action involving deliberate destruction of or damage to public or private property.
As long as it doesn't involve actual Vandals defiling the streets with their brainy quotes which, by the way, are often full of misspelled words (yup, I stop and read them. Don't judge me); I think some acts of vandalism are more hysterically funny than they are criminal. Plus, there's an issue that is particularly near and dear to me; ''public activism'', which could be brilliantly expressed through ''street art''. Granted, acts of civil disobedience may include some aspects that are considered a crime, but should they be judged in the same way as those crude drawings that make a 2-year-old's doodles look very promising?
I've found this list of too-sweet-to-be-illegal random acts of "vandalism." Some of 'em are referred to pop culture. I mean, c'mon! Duh!
Holy schnitzel! This is my favorite. I bet it's MARY's too. Ain't it, MARY?
Oh, my! Right in the feels. =')
Which one(s) ring a bell?

Yeah, that's E.T.'s poster.
You think my ''pots'' are interesting? Thank you! =]
Ah, my sweet, sweet Adaline!
You know I love your naiveté, right? =] This is the original logo.
This is its graffiti.
Awwwwww...
I didn't peg you for a softie, MARY. =p
Yes, I know him. I like this one very much.
And this.
I dunno why. You see, as a child I always used to lose my balloons. Maybe it's time to deal with the bane that is the balloons and/or kites.
Oh! and I forgot: The Cookie Monster! My fav Sesame Street character! ^_^
By the way:
-Stairway to Heaven: Led Zeppelin's song (I love them!)
-Calvin and Hobbes
-E.T.
-Matrix
-Ghostbusters
-Jack Nicholson in 'The Shining'
...And now you can call me 'smartass' XD
Dear A738a, I like all your pictures. As long as it doesn't involve in any real vandals or damage to public property, I like it and find it funny too. Ghost in the road sign.. little bit too much. Is that what you are asking sweetheart?
Thanks for sharing
Well Done!
Aww C&H ^_^
I love to find 'curious' stuff in the steet... but it doesn't happen too often. The last thing I saw was this painted on a wall on my way to work:
It says: "You're the best days of my life". Maybe it's 'vandalism' but... what the heck! It's so romantic! ^_^ (this wall is clean now, so I'm happy to have taken a pic)
Btw do you know the 'street' artist BANSKY? He's just THE BEST! :)
You didn't answer my question though. =/
Regardless, thanks for stoppin' by.
