This is your life. Do what you love. And do it often.

This is the  Holstee Manifesto.    In  2009 brothers and cofounders Dave and Mike Radparvar quit their jobs and started a new company with their good friend and founding partner Fabian.  Rather than write a business plan, they wrote down what they value most in life, what true success means, things that one should never forget in life and from this, came the manifesto.

It was a declaration of truth that touched the core of many people and today it has become one of the most widely read inspirational print.   To date it has moved thousands to take a serious look at their life and to finally make a step towards a revolutionary change.  Over 50 million people have read this manifesto and it has been translated into 12 Languages.

Do you have a positive message to send to the universe, to the world, to yourself? Dare to be an inspiration to yourself, your friends and to the world by creating your own manifesto and be the stone thrown into the river that creates ripples of inspiration to people around you.  I took out some lines that moved me from my own poems and blogs to come up with my own manifesto.  Here is my manifesto:

Live in gladness that you may fathom the healing in every wound...smile, grin, smirk...LAUGH!

Be brave to defend the weak, with word and deed, do something...anything be it great, small, mundane.

Refill your senses with a new way of knowing...take a risk and make uncharted experiences... Take that dream job!

Resound deep in your heart the words of GOD, the love of neighbour, friend or foe, love boldly and remember we are all on the same side, HUMANITY’s.

Find light in every blindness and in pain the strength, always cleave to HOPE  because nothing is by chance, there is a reason for everything.

Don’t waste your time on what is past or go crazy thinking about what will be, Live now, be present, be conscious, be ALIVE in the moment

Faith, Hope, Charity and the greatest of this is LOVE.

I hope you can share your own too.  I shared the video of the Holstee Manifesto on the videos page.  Do have a peek! J

  • Hi Alice!!!

Thank you for kindly share this interesting blog. To be honest I don't know what is manifesto, hehehe,. back later I was watching Tv program which inspired a lot of people by inspirational and motivational words. At first I liked it but then I though it didn't work as I believe act more than words, hee... I was unstable that time and because one and other things, words had failed me. When I said I don't like that kind of program -include inspirational snapchat- I don't understand why people look at me with pity, lol xD But I do like manifesto said by person I like, no matter how silly it is -I think we all do- and one thing I still believe, one man's pain will hurt us all, one man's joy will make anyone smile :)

    Sorry for long comment^^

  • Dear Alice! I lost my diary long before and those were being written in my mother language....I will share with you when can translate it in English..:)  Thank you dear

  • Dear Serene,

It helps to have something to point us to the direction where we are supposed to be, it keeps us grounded and gives us that extra push to stand up and move forward.  Maybe you can share your childhood manifesto here too if you like. I am betting it will be just as inspiring! :)

  • Dear Onee,

These inspirational words though just words can have the power to make lives better so I just try to pass it along and I’m glad you caught it!  Thank you for your kind words here.

  • Hi NotAClue,

it is indeed a business however the fact that they are able to inspire people to action was what caught my attention but thank you for reminding me to be true to my manifesto, we all need this push once in a while. I try to live out these words to as much as my conscience will not reproach me but being a Christian I am a steward to what is right and good in this world  and so I do my part no matter how insignificant that may be, in mere words or small deeds.  Thank you for sharing your thoughts here.

  • Dear Eva,

My thoughts exactly!  I know those words would ring true to your ears because it is the kind of person you are.   You rouse up this spirit of justice in your blogs and as far as I can sense in your real life too.  Keep the spirit!  Thanks for your lovely comment.

  • Dear setareh,

I can always perceive truth in your words.  Your manifesto is so authentic it encompasses the essential desires of every person who wishes to be happy.  I am with you in this hope and this desire.  Thank you for sharing this!

  •  Dear Alice!I like to read your wonderful and motivational blog!I like your manifesto..

In my childhood, I used to write down and read my manifesto every day, before I start my school. It spotlights my mind by reminding me of my priority and I was emphasizing those values.

  • Dear Alice, you always have words to motivate others.

Keep it spreading. Have a beautiful life! ;)

  • Dear Alice, another wonderful post of you, well done! thanks for sharing.Your manifesto is as great as Mike's and Dave's. I would like to start my manifesto with: first, believe in yourself.
we heard a lot about each person being unique, but because we didn't believe it we wouldn't be able to reveal that specialness of ourselves.
second: be tankful to all your blessings and bold the positive things in your life.
Third: learn from your failures and use them as steps to grow stronger.
Forth: do not let hatred in your heart, learn to forgive and forget.
Fifth: express your love to those you care, maybe there is no next time.
Sixth: do whatever you like and keep telling yourself' YOU CAN'. Don't let others tell you that you can't.
Seventh: Look at the blue sky, look at stars at night, take a deep breath and pray for all people in the world to be happy and safe.
