Dufourmentel! What a detailed post, and great questions! I'll get back to you soon :)
Very, very active, indeed!
Which language do you feel comfortable with?
Which do you like more?
Where did you journey?
did you visit France or Thailand?
Have you ever been in Asia?
Yes we are all in sore need of practicing.
I ought to practise more. to manage soon to converse fluidly and easily.
we make after a fashion every endeavour to move forward
it’s an uphill battle as There is a staggering number of words, prhases, expressions, without forgetting grammar, pronunciation (USA / Australia / Irish and in Thailand where I live.
I don’t tell you about their accent when you bump into somebody who can speak English. (a very few)
As a matter of fact there are differents ways to achieve success.
This issue raises many questions so very controversial
The issue is not quite as straightforward as it seems.
They say that practice makes perfect but it can impede
your progress too you know.
That is why I no longer use 'Skype’. (I don’t want to regress)
Lazy writing, slang, american words, poor sound quality,
contacts with poor vocabulary and so forth...
If it comes to that I’d rather give up.
sometimes I meet people living in Thailand to practise a bit.
I fend for myself alone even if I have to focus a lot to listen
to my speakers so as I understand chiefly when they talk to me
too quickly.
what about your ‘chat room’?
Do you intervene in conversations?
is it free?
could you instruct us a bit more?
whether to learn ‘u’ ‘u r’ or ‘wanna go’ and so on ...
what is the point?
As teacher you should have a word with your group about
this bad habit.
I can't seem to get the idea across to ‘ec members’.
take a look at the instant messages on the ‘chat’
and so you’ll see what sort of English they use.
Ok thank you ma’am
I need to get going as I have to go cycling to get fit and health.
what the weather like at your place? Best wishes.
