Confidence...

Very first blog of mine!!!

A Boy came to my home today, somewhere around 13-14 of age, carrying two briefcases in hand. He was here for the reason to sell those briefcases which were having name tag of Big Brand.

He started saying that "I am from ***** that famous big brand company and availing you these products at your home please see it once. We said ok show your material. He started explaining lots of qualities with showing his briefcases and also the price structure which was quite low.

We asked why you offering on so low rate??

He replied "I am here for you only because you are of my religion that is why offering you in a little amount." I checked the stuff and shown my suspect to him that it’s not original and asked him, "is that the big brand has become bankrupt" so that you people started selling it door to door.

He replied, No mam! "We are the boys who travel with their goods when they transport their products and that time we hide 2-3 pieces for our own expenses and then sell it on half rate. Trust me its original you can see its chains, bag stuff, and locking system also and see the company name also printed here".

Then we told him that we know very well that it’s not original because it’s quite different from the original one which we already have. He was much confident on his words so he replied me "ok sit on bike and come to its showroom then I will prove you".

I was really shocked to see his confidence then we said ok lets go to the showroom but remember that I will hand over you to the Police if you are wrong.

Then he skipped his track of proving the originality and started pleading that please buy this…...

This incident made me thoughtful that how much I am confident? He made me realize that I have no such confidence for even my good deeds as he was showing for his bad work.

If you really want to improve yourself you can take examples from everywhere and for that it is not always necessary to only look for school or college materials, lessons are always there in your atmosphere you just need to keep your eyes open and gather the information, knowledge. Whenever, where ever you find it.

Life teaches you at every moment of your life so always be ready to grab.

Well done Sana. Your first blog is a nice one. Just keep writing. You are right when you believe in yourself and your abilities you will have high self confidence so others will believe you as well.

This is called 'A Sales Man Confidence". There is a saying in this field that the best salesman is one who can sale the boat in the dessert and refrigerator in the North Pole.
I work in a Battery Company, I regularly observe our sales force doing the same business
with confidence. One a colleague of my (sales manager) convinced me to buy battery for
my home UPS saying that these batteries are rejected because of some leakage problem but
these will be a bit cheaper and work properly because my use of batteries was stationery.
I got convinced and bought those batteries.

So this is not considered a bad thing in business rather it is considered as an art.
