On my English course session, my English language course instructor gave us an article to translated it into English. The original article was in Malays language.
Below, my complete translation.
Title : Coffee On The Wall.
One day I was having coffee with my friend in a coffee shop in Los Angeles. A moment later, a customer came and sat next to our table. He called upon the waiter and order "Two cup of coffee, a cup on the wall". How strange it was the way he ordered for coffee, we had found out that just a single cup of coffee was served but he paid for two cups of coffee indeed. When he went off, the waiter sticked a piece of paper on the wall, which was written
"a cup of coffee".
After that, two customers entered the coffee house. They ordered three cups of coffee, where two cups were served on their table while another cup on the wall. After drinking two cups of coffee, they paid for three cups of coffee and left the coffee house. The waiter once again sticked a piece of paper to the wall which was written "a cup of coffee". Maybe, this is one of the practices in the coffee shop, so we felt strange and puzzled. However, since it's was not our case, after finished our coffee and making payment, we left the place.
A few days later, we had another opportunity to visit the coffee house again. While enjoying our coffee, a shabbily-dressed man got into the coffee house which did not fit with the atmosphere of the coffee house. Obviously, he was poor. He sat on a chair, looking to the wall and said, "a cup of coffee, please". As usual, the waiter just paid his respect to him while serving him a cup of coffee. After finishing his coffee, the poor man left the store without making payment for his drinks. We were surprised to see what had happened but then we saw a waiter removed a piece of paper from the wall and threw it into the dustbin. At that point, I realized what actually happened. Local residents paid their respect to the poor, that made me feel overwhelmed with their noble character.
Coffee is not essential in our society, it is also not necessity in our life. But the important thing is that when we have something good, we need to think about other people too. Maybe other people like to have what we have but they just can't afford it. Furthermore, the waiter only smile broadly while serving the poor man. The poor man did not have to begging for a cup of coffee. What he needed to do was just to look at the wall. The extra cup of coffee was called "Coffee for the future", you have paid for it, but you don't know who will enjoy it. This is the beauty of our world which is filled with love.
People make advance payment when buying coffee, it's bring happiness to the people who are less fortunate. The particular practices originated from Naples in Italy and now it has spread all over the world.

Thanks guys. This is absolutely wonderful idea. It would be awesome if this catches on. People pay in anticipation for the coffees for others who can't. Guys, I just found this website http://suspendedcoffees.com/ that encourage us to practice this kind of noble values.
"It really is about so much more than the coffee. It can provide physical comfort, conversation, a smile or even a laugh, and a sense of belonging. A suspended coffee can change lives, sometimes even save them".
Dear Burn Bakaq,
Very interesting story. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Well done!
Me too, tse. By the way, if we respect other people, we will gain respect back.
Dara, you are definitely to be complimented and applauded!
Keep up the good job.
Thanks Dara. You're so kind.
p/s: "Saya juga akan lihat (semak) pada esok hari Burn. Maksudnya, orang miskin yang tidak mempunyai wang untuk kopi."
