Clarine was a capricious water sprite and she loved to be quite mischievous and prone to playing fairy tricks on people, she wasted most of her time wandering the rice fields and watching farmers sowing and reaping. The Land sprite kept on asking her why she loved to stay that way, why not to do her job and pour some rain to helped the farmers till the soil easier and cultivate the farm. Clarine, on the contrary, will generated snow to cover the fields so the farmer will find it difficult to plow the area and deposit the seeds. She finds pleasure seeing people suffer and hasty to do something to save the remaining crops or shovel the snow. She enjoyed the sight of a worried human because she was intrigued about person’s emotions.
One day, the Queen of all nature’s sprites lost her patience towards Clarine, resulting to summoned her to dispense justice with all her wrongdoings, the Queen said “because of your misbehavior and naughtiness that I don’t expect for a good sprite. We are here to help the people not to bring misery and affliction, and because you love to know how they will react, that the face of worries gives you delight. Tonight, I will claim your power and curse you, you will become a human being and we will see how gratified you’ll be experiencing the same.”
The next morning, as she opened her eyes and saw a wooden ceiling, she’s lying on a bed, someone’s bed! At the right side of her eyes, peripherally she saw a sleeping man, she rose from the bed and sit next to the sleeping man and checked his face. The man looked very tired and looked neglected. Her breath woke the man up and their eyes locked, for his’ ash gray and she has chestnut brown eyes. Is this loved at first sight? Her heart pounded like racing horses.
The man told her how he found her in the woods, naked and lying on the floor, so he decided to bring her home. The man is a widower, as she listened to the man’s life story, slowly she felts fondness for him and wants to console him. She asked how did the wife and son die, and he said,
“My wife died after my son’s deliverance. “
The man continued, “My child… that was one afternoon, we’re expecting for the rain to come but instead a snow came to pour the land, and covered almost the entire field and surroundings. My son loves to play and run with his friends, but that afternoon he made it alone because no child wants to go outside that’s why nobody accompanied him. Accidentally, my son slipped and hit his head on the rock. That’s the reason of his death.” She saw his deep sadness and she felt sore as if somebody struck her heart. It was her to be the sole responsible of that, what a shame! Does she want to pay the pain she gave to this guy while asking herself, why she felt this way? Why a sudden changed of heart?
She only has one answer. He saved me, or I love him? What is love? Why did I feel this way? What’s wrong with me, with my heart?
At her side, a human size mirror was placed, all of a sudden she saw her reflection, and her face… it was full of worries, melancholic eyes, and ache.
Now she knows.

Hi, dear Risty! It was not the easy work to do! I wonder I got throught it! Ha-ha!
Well, as you can see, I corrected most of the verbs as they were in wrong forms. Many prepositions were wrond, too.
You know I always correct all the stories written on my challenges and explain mistakes if I am asked to. So, you are welcome to ask your questions.
Sir Danny, I'm almost speechless! How will I thank you for doing these corrections? I'm just hoping I didn't give you the hard time dealing with my story. Seems like and feels like I'm a flightless bird when it comes to grammar (preposition, past tenses..etc..) Oh boy! Sure, I'm not the brightest crayon in the box. :D
I want to write more, I want you to read them, criticize them, correct if I'm wrong... I know I'm asking too much. But I really hope you will, until I can fly.
Thank you so much, Sir, God bless you (please allow me, I really want to say this)
So grateful, your meek student.
Hi, dear! I have corrected your tale at last. Here you are!
Clarine was a capricious water sprite and she liked to be quite mischievous and prone to playing fairy tricks on people, she wasted most of her time wandering in the rice fields and watching farmers sowing and reaping. The Land sprite kept on asking her why she liked to stay that way, why she didn’t do her job rainmaking and helping __farmers water the soil and cultivate it easier. On the contrary, Clarine, wanted to generate snow to cover the fields so that __farmers would find it difficult to plow the area and to plant __ seeds. She fond pleasure seeing people suffer and __ do something hasty to save the remaining crops or shovel the snow. She enjoyed the sight of worried people because she was intrigued by human emotions.
One day, the Queen of all nature’s sprites lost her patience with Clarine. As a result, she summoned Crarine before herself to dispense justice to all her wrongdoings. The Queen said: “Here is the punishment for your misbehavior and naughtiness that I don’t expect for a good sprite. We are here to help __ people, but not to bring misery and affliction, and because you are eager to know how they will react and you are delighted to see them facing troubles, I will take away your power and curse you tonight. You will become a human being and we will see how gratified you’ll be experiencing the same.”
The next morning, she opened her eyes and saw the wooden ceiling, she’s lying in the bed, someone’s bed! From the corner of her eye, she saw a man sleeping on the right, she rose from the bed and sat down next to the sleeping man and looked at his face. The man looked very tired and neglected. Her breath woke the man up and their eyes met: __ his ash gray with her __chestnut brown __. Was it love at first sight? Her heart pounded like racing horse.
The man told her __ he had found her in the woods, naked and lying on the ground, so he decided to bring her home. The man was a widower and listening to his life story, she slowly felt fondness for him and wanted to console him. She asked how his wife and son had died, and he said:
“My wife died after my son’s delivery. “
The man continued: “My child… that was one afternoon, we’re expecting __ the rain to come but, instead, the heavy snow __ covered almost the entire field and surroundings. My son liked to play and to run with his friends, but that afternoon he made it alone because no child wanted to go outside that’s why nobody accompanied him. Accidentally, my son slipped and hit his head on the rock. That’s the cause of his death.” Clarine saw his deep sadness and she felt sore as if somebody struck her heart. It was her who was responsible for that, what a shame! She had distressed that guy but if she wanted to feel the same pain, she was asking herself, why she felt that way? Why did something change in her heart so suddenly?
She had only one answer. “He saved me, or I love him? What is love? Why do I feel this way? What’s wrong with me, with my heart?”
By her side was a full length mirror and, all of a sudden, she saw her reflection, __ her face… She looked worried. Her eyes were melancholic __ and full of pain.
And she realized she knew all the answers.

Wow, my plan worked! I'd love to, take me to your class, now.hahaha!
Dear Risty! I agree: you will never know until you experience the same. It is like about liking winter you have never seen.
Did you really try to write your story in the past tenses?! Oh, my! Perhaps, you need to take my class on this subject! Dear, I will correct your story some later and I can tell you how to use the tenses when we write stories.
Dear Sweetest Pleasure, thank you.
Dear Mishaikh, thank you for your kind correction.
Dear Sir Danny, I’m in bliss to know you like it, we will never realize how it feels until we became subjected, whatever we do in life has something to do with other lives, and it’s just a matter of respect to our co-existence.
I tried to make it past tense, but not sure if I’ve done it right. Well, I’m sure I didn’t make it right.
Thanks Sir Danny.
Dear Luci, I’m sorry I don’t like you to feel depressed. Most of the time, those who are selfish are those who are lacking, they don’t want to impart the goodness in them, because they tend to think they don’t have that to share. Thanks Luci.
