~ Chpt 38 : Water oh water (T_T) ~

What is water?

Water is the chemical substance with chemical formula H2O: one molecule of water has two hydrogen atoms covalently bonded to a single oxygen atom.

Water appears in nature in all three common states of matter (solid, liquid, and gas) and may take many different forms on Earth: water vapor and clouds in the sky, seawater in the oceans, icebergs in the polar oceans, glaciers in the mountains, fresh and salt water lakes, rivers, and aquifers in the ground.

That what wikipedia said about water.  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water)

I seems didn’t realised many things in life until it happened.  Due to weather, we have drought problem. The water in our dam is not enough to cover all residences because of the heat, haze, humid and dry; our water level is in danger. Therefore our government decided to cut the water stage by stage, so that we are able to save some until rain.

What is rain?

Rain is liquid water in the form of droplets that have condensed from atmospheric water vapor and then precipitated—that is, become heavy enough to fall under gravity. Rain is a major component of the water cycle and is responsible for depositing most of the fresh water on the Earth. It provides suitable conditions for many types of ecosystem, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and crop irrigation.

Basically to say, I am without water for 2 days (T_T) sob.. sob..  we managed to save some water but still is not enough.

Even though it’s raining 2 days ago still not enough to cover our land. Due to heat the water dried out easily.

Rain rain rain. please come again...

Notes : Please used your water wisely.

  • I'm so lucky that in my area, the water rationing did not happen. I hope this episode of dry weather will make Malaysians more appreciative of our water and not to waste it unnecessarily.
