Recently in China social media, an article named Chinese Men Don't Match Chinese Women has already made headlines and sparked heated discussion especially among Chinese net citizens.
The article first put a result of a street research of the men's and women's dressing in Shanghai, and it revealed that most girls' dressings were more decent and fashionable than men's. Here are some pictures attached to the articles.
As this topic became a hit voernight, some more polls were done online. Over half men didn't agree with what the article claimed, while over half women believed it covered a big part of the truth. Also, there came some articles that explain this phenomenon. Here are some main points:
Chinese men face a huge social pressure. They have to work hard and support the whole family, so that they don't have a leisure time to dress them up. They give their money to their women but take up their women's responbility for the family.
Chinese women are well educated and their employment rate has risen to 70% these days. Thus they are more independent and has money to follow the fashion. And that's the society's request to them too.
Chinese women don't pick men's appearance, instead they value men's inside virtues very much. Thus, Chinese men's full attention is on how to be a rich man inside and outside as the culture requires.
However, some articles further point out Chinese men don't pay attention to their dressing, but also don't pay attention to body exercise. They are either too thin or have a big sized beer belly. Chinese women are slim, by contrast, and dress up decently from country girls to white-collar women in the workplace.

But I was thinking that men in Europe pay much attention to their dress and body shape! Lol, East or west, men are the same!

I little bit agree to that article. I usually see men wearing perfect wearing for offices and institutes. Women sometimes also show careless about their dress up. I think so, it's depend on mood or habit I liked that critiquing blog.
Men pay more attention to their clothing now, a lady at their clothing has written a Critiquing blog. :DD
In my place ,men pay attention to their appearance too much. They also try to buy expensive clothes , but they forget to care their health .They always leave their bellies to grow up.Nice comments for very nice topic.

Yes, it is true, but again most of the men do not have time even for exercise. Take me, I work 9 to 5, but for this I have to leave at 7:30 a.m. and I come back home around 6:15 to 6:30 completely exhausted....................my exercise is already done.
