Causative Verbs and Exercises

Good morning, everyone! :)

Borrowing the quote from Adaline, "Knowledge has no value unless we use and share it", I would like to discuss about grammar.

In this session, I will discuss 'Causative Verb'. From my observation, it is one of the grammatical mistakes commonly made by learners here. Please just ask OR tell me if you have any doubts.

'Causative verbs' is used when one doesn't perform the action himself/herself, but someone else/something else does it. There are 5 causative verbs we would discuss: have, make, get, let, and help. Check this out! :))

Now, it's time to do the exercises. :)

Exercise 1: Complete the sentences below with the appropriate causative verbs!

The first one is correct. We don't need 'to' for causative 'have'. But in this case, I think the context is not correct. :D No one pay me nor ask me about it. ^^ But I'm really happy if this material is useful.

Thank you for your appreciation. Have a great day! ^^
