Two days ago, I wanted to write this blog. Broken Windows, I wrote the title first, and I did not know what to write next. I mean what topic or subject should I talk about? By the way, do we usually write the topic first and then we write its title, or is it the other way round? Some people say the topic and then the title. Others say the title and then the topic. However, which one of the two hypothesizes or suppositions is correct, I am in a hole and I did not know what to do. The idea or rather the title came to my thoughts spontaneously, Broken Windows, and then what? I tried to make myself like those artists who hold their brushes and just paint aimlessly, but at the end of their blundering attempts, as we imagine so, they produce something which dazzles or fascinates the eyes and makes the viewer mesmerized.
The problem, I am not that creator or designer. Honestly, some talented people do strange things that baffle or puzzle us. I asked myself why did I write that title while I had no topic for it? The main question still remains, should I have prepared my topic first, and name or title it afterwards? That is close to, shall we name the baby before it is born or after its birth?

Wow, what a catchy title. My friend, after I had read the article I discovered how much we are fortunate to have such a friend who always maintains to put a smile on our faces. Anyway, from the title I expected to read about someone who is trapped in somewhere and he or she did his or her best to save themselves through a broken window. I think if you did that (thank God you didn’t), the article would be cliche. On the other hand, if you write about the broken windows which surrounded our souls and hearts which make our vision foggy and our alternatives very weak, that would make you a force of creativity.

English is a topic-centered language. In every paragraph, or any longer text, the writer focuses on discussing a single main topic. All the details provided are used to support his ideas about that topic. In all good paragraphs you will therefore find three essential elements, i.e. a topic, a main idea, and some details. In relation to this, your understanding of a paragraph depends on your to determine the topic and main idea.
Topic
A topic is the one thing the whole paragraph is about. It is the unifying factor, which every sentence and idea contained in the paragraph relate to. To find the topic of a paragraph, ask yourself this question: “Which person, event, practice, theory, or idea is most frequently mentioned or referred to in the paragraph?” Usually, the topic of a paragraph can be expressed in one word or a phrase consisting of two or more words. That’s why a topic could also be defined as the word or phrase that best describes what all of the sentences in the paragraph are about. To illustrate, let’s use the following paragraph.

As for me, I have first topics I want to write about, then title it. I think that titling them before we think of topics is difficult, because thinking topics would be harder than thinking titles, wouldn't they?

I think either way is just fine as long as you accomplish the way you want it to be. For babies I'd like to name them whenever the name hits me.
