I know a little: there are football, Capoeira, carnivals, beautiful beaches and a statue on the hill. Don't remember it's exact name, but she was a holy person as far as I know.
I was there three times and I think that in somehow I didn't leave it. I remember swimming in that clean, warm waters watching several fishes around. Floating, feeling the sun on the skin.
I love Brazil. And the people are warm too like the weather. They seem to have no problems. They are excellent hosts, they make you feel better than in your own country. I love Brazil.
