Blog Challenge-Either/neither/neither nor

This year neither I nor my dearest hubby was  aware about upcoming Valentine's! How come? Maybe we are focused on another important issue. But, neither of us is running out of LOVE, be sure! lol

So, what to do? I think, I am going to surprise him by a nice gift though a tight hug will be enough to make him happy! And, it is also true he tends to think gift is not that much important,  I don't, either/ neither do I. Then, what is important?  In our thinking, important is understanding, important is whether we care each other or not!

You may take us either right or wrong. But, I think either we are okay! hahaha Though, either of us is busy in our professional life but we like to spend quality time. He hates to stay more time outside, I do, either!  And, no matter, either he is out of home for any business trip or another purpose, I always feel lonely. I think, either of us feel in the same way.

  • Thanks, dear!

  • so, either of us is wrong?

  • Hahaha....Onee dear!

  • Oh dear Bet,

    So sweet of you. ^_^

  • Thanks a lot, dear Rysperski and Tanya! You know, it is a great help! I must re-write according to your corrections and try to remember and may be I will write another short paragraph!

Thanks, Roman for your nice wish!

  • Hi Bet!

    Nice story! :)

I also wish you a happy and long life together!

    Thank you for sharing!

  • Oi there,

I have a suspicion that the author of this blog hasn't understood the sense of "either" and "neither" well.

Maybe some example sentences will make it easier to figure out when to use these expressions.

"Either do something useful or leave the classroom" said the teacher, but the stubborn student neither did anything useful nor did he leave the classroom.

Neither of us like walking in the rain, but both of us like sunbathing.

Tom did not like the trip to the lake, neither did I.

Tom likes swimming, so do I.

Neither Mary nor Paul were interested in going to the theater.

I always feel lonely when he is away, I think both of us feel the same way.

I think that if it stops raining, neither of us will mind it.

If it rains in the evening, we'll stay at home and we'll either watch TV or go to bed earlier, but neither of us think of going out for supper.

  • Thank you, dear Halima!

  • have a happy life both of you. either you are okay or you are okay.
