As...as a...

Add color to the English language. How? You can use literary devicesidioms, similes and metaphors to name a few. Easy peasy! Writers and speakers use them to highlight an idea, or feature a certain characteristic of a person they're describing. A simile is a very powerful way to describe a character. Poets and writers can use them in their writings. Why can't you? How about some animal similes?

  • As sly as a fox

As timid as a rabbit

  • As meek as a lamb

  • As fast as a cheetah

Ah, the irony...

  • As graceful as a gazelle

  • As brave as a lion

Can you write a short story and describe your character(s) using these similes?

  • Oneday beautiful and graceful gazelle who was the sweetheart of lion the king of jungle was missed. The lion got so nervous and asked the smart rabbit to get help from lamb and cheetah to find his beloved gazelle as fast as possible. The lion suspected cunning fox. The rabbit was so smart and with the help of knowledgeable lamb (according to your picture :D) and the fastness of cheetah, they soon found the big eyes gazelle.
The pictures are so cute especially the rabbit.
  • C'mon! That's okay, dear. To err is human, right? =D
