Art with a message

habitat |ˈhabiˌtat| (noun) the natural home or environment of an animal, plant, or other organism

destruction |diˈstrəkSHən| (noun) the action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired

Habitat Destruction

The combo is always bad news. Every day there are fewer places left that wildlife could call home. This is due to human activities—like agriculture, oil exploration, or water diversion. Such activities make it extremely difficult for animals to find food, water, and places to raise their young. Said Dagdeviren is an artist who makes beautiful art with a message. This series is known as "Double Exposure".

How it should be...

Thank you for your time.

  • Amazing and meaningful pictures! Thanks for sharing. It reminded me of my beloved documentary 'HOME'. We should rethink our approach towards our only planet and its amazing creatures. Earth doesn't blog to us only. The diversity of animals and plants is so necessary to this planet.  Thanks for reminding us.
