Q.  Was my assignment illegal  being carrying out in my employment mentioned in my previous blog?

I have already mentioned that the Cosmic Trade was established in London, and of course it was licensed by the competent authority of London, UK.  Beside it was also borne the NOC of Central Bank in my country, that the company is entitled to send the remittances to Cosmic against the export of Grey Cloth.

After completing the documentations for the remittance the case was sent to the Central Bank.  But no response was received from them and our requests for remittances piled up there.  Once we received a letter from them asking the company to send representative to have the cases/requests of remittance discussed with them.  My boss asked me to visit. 

When I visited the government officer, he said, “Look Mr. I assume that this Cosmic Trade is a fake company.”

“Yes it is.” I said flatly.  The officer was surprised to hear my straight answer.”

I took a document from my briefcase and showed him, “but sir, the Central Bank itself has allowed to establish this Cosmic in London and doing the business with our company.”

The officer was astound to see the permission. 

“So, Sir, if any other objection you have, please let me know, I will try to convince.”

What happened, and how it happened is another story and I do not want to reveal it here just to hide the wound of the society and system.  It is enough to say that the commission was started to be remitted without any further hindrances.     

I just want to add here that whether it was legal or illegal, but was done in legal ways and it could not be challenged in any court of law.
