If u have to make a choice between , living in an earthly paradise by ur own , or being a middle class mediocre guy !!!! Which one would u decide to do , and Why ? ....
My people say " that a cottage might be more relaxing than a mansion "
In the year 750 , a stunningly beautiful girl , was carried on a back of a camel , from the Arabian deserts . To be the bride of the new crowned Arab king ...
There in glamorous Damascus , everything was beyond the imagination of the bedouin girl . Mysoon was picked carefully to be an extra luxury for the king .All her commands were within her hands . She seems as if she were the luckiest girl in Arabia
That what people think . In real she was depressed , and used to chant this poem in her chamber °~•○
A house with murmring people around ,
Is more adorable than a silent mansion ,
A meager bedouin man ,
Is more adorable than this mighty king ,
A yapping watch dog at the commers ,
Is more adorable than a cute kitten ,
One of the mansion maids heard Mysoon sorrowful chant . She conveyed the unexplainable cause of her sadness to the king , doing her a favour , without purpose . Soon after ward , Mysoon was divorced , getting what she wanted and longed for , a tent in the middle of the Arabian deserts . Where is she racing on the back of her horse all along with a meager dark bedouin man , whom she loves deeply .
She gave up all the pageantry to get these moments , to race freely in the desert and walk barefoot on the sands . Maybe " Happiness is boring " or that happiness is what u are used to do , what u have adopted our selves to overcome everyday is the true life that u can't change ............

وعلج من بني عمي نحيل
أحب إلي من عرق سمين
these are the words of the chant, if I still remember...

I am agree with Evangelina comments too. Thanks dear Rosemary for sharing your nice writing.
My pleasure reading it - I really like the image as you posted along with it, beautiful :)
Thanks Evangeline :) for ur wonderful comment on the story . Actually , this story is real and popular in Arabic history
I guess paradise on earth is where the love is, among the persons whom we love. Then it is of less matter all the material goods.
So as for the character in your story, she chose what gave most meaning for her in her life and made her happy.
It is a nice story, loved reading it. Thank you for this wonderful post <3 Rosemary.
Mishaikh since u are a muslim like me . I will write this verse from AlRahman "" ولمن خاف مقام ربه جنتان ""
The concept of the 2 paradise in Islam . And that true believers do this enjoy the 2 paradises
We have been given free will to make our paradise here on earth or hereafter. But wise are those who make it in both places, here on earth by spreading happiness, and by this the one hereafter automatically made.
