A virgin land

A virgin land

There is a virgin land so pure
Where we can our life endure
It's made alone for you and me
it is a land across the sea.

There is an empty land so bare
just animals, no humans there
a virgin land so fine and pure
it is for us, of that I'm sure.

We are not as the others are,
we do not need a nobel car,
we never had for more a need
than only land for our seed

We want to seed our own grain
to work for us is not in vain.
We always have enough to eat,
from own hands, from own seed.

There you can see with own eye
we are pleased by stars on sky
we want not have a faked light
it is enough the moon so bright.

It is not only food we need
as long as our heart will bleed
I want to find with you the love
and flying over clouds above.

My dream is just this land to find,
it's always living in my mind.
This world is not where we belong
now tell me, is my dream so wrong?

And if we find our life so free,
we never more will try to flee
the happiest life until we die
it is as if our souls can fly.

  • Ms. Rose, I think it’s not a secret anymore that you are a good poet, so I will just answer your question here. You are not wrong, there is a place for us I believe wherein we can experience the true essence of humanity and living. Yes, this earth is a wonderful place, to begin with, everything is good and well created. The only problem is our greedy nature, that encompasses not only what we deserve for us, but we still yearn to have what we don’t. I hope to see the place one day, the virgin land that my heart longs all this time.
