As I've already said.
An interesting place to know, learn, grip, clutch, clasp, hold, clench; catch, seize, grab, snatch,..., more than English could be,–)
If you have time and curiosity, of course.
Some links could be broken, if your first gaze it's a broken one, try with other.

Is it not a short, little, tiny, teeny, wee, concise, brief, succinct, compact, crisp & pithy, laconic, abridged, condensed, synoptic, contracted, and small one?-)
Yes, it is.
Hope you can relish.

P.S.If you prefer a shorter one, you may read bold words only,

Yes, I've read it, but I haven't finished "The Portrait..." yet. It was very difficult for me amidst a lot of different things to do, now it's still waiting in my bed side table jam, that's why I've preferred short stories for a while, short and compact, it's better for my bound mind.
By the way, I don't read fast, in fact I read very slowly, specially if I find an specially delightful sentence, then I can turn around and come back once, twice, thrice,...., my rate, also, it's the rate that I need, no more.–)
Time to din, snore and rest. Have a good weekend!

Hi Javier,
Thanks for worrying about my beloved pet! :) My Dog has secret genes taken from a chameleon, so he can change his colour, and thus we can match together pretty well as you could notice.
Thanks Javier, you became my guide into the English literature. Have you read all these books which you quoted here?
These days I am trying not to be distracted from The Polyglot Project. And perhaps, I can't read so fast as you do. Though, I enjoy my pace of reading.
YEAH! I want such a dance feeling!
Have your dog swam in lye? What happened with its ink black looks?
Ah! Now it has the cream colour because the feather's wing! but, why it's shrink?–D
Issuu likes me, I've an account there, I used to find some papers, issues, trying to get new ideas or learn something about photography or another topics, searching comics, magazines, etc. to work with. But a magazine can't involve as a good book, isn't it?
A good book has the faculty to fly around your neurons and brings you through its words the impact of its sensations, aspect,... Sometimes playing with words only for fun, as Rudyard Kipling in "Just So Stories":"...He ate the starfish and the garfish, and the crab and the dab, and the plaice and the dace, and the skate and his mate, and the mackereel and the pickereel, and the really truly twirly-whirly eel…" (from: How the Whale Got His Throat)…
sometimes carrying you to a place: "The studio was filled with the rich odour of roses, and when the light summer wind stirred amidst the trees of the garden, there came through the open door the heavy scent of the lilac, or the more delicate perfume of the pink-flowering thorn…" (first paragraph of "The Portrait of Dorian Grey" by O. Wilde)
Sometimes telling unnatural actions: "…What men call the shadow of the body is not the shadow of the body, but is the body of the soul. Stand on the sea-shore with thy back to the moon, and cut away from around thy feet thy shadow, which is thy soul's body, and bid thy soul leave thee, and it will do so.' The young Fisherman trembled. 'Is this true?' he murmured." (The Fisherman and his Soul by O. Wilde). Ah! fantastic. The day that I could read & understand "The elegence of the Hedgehog" as if I'm reading in Sp. that day, I'll be happy (or a lot of different books:-)
By the way, Do you know the Dogon People, from Mali, Africa? I can't remember where is it a picture's site about this people, but you can find it if you are interested. The firts thing which cought my attention was their mith about Sirius, but as soon as I saw their arquitecture I felt in love with it. Incredible, as all ancient arquitecture that links the heaven, the myths, and the earth.

P.S. Hehehehehehe! sometimes write down it's a peril! –but not for me!-D
Hugs!-)
Hi again, Javier!
Shall I say what has happened?
My Dog, poor, firstly he got angry because he tried to follow Bryan's singing and didn't manage to get into the music. Though, he is such a dogged guy and so after all he began dancing! I admire his doggedness! ;)
Yet, despite his horrible hoarse singing he is musical, isn't he? :D
By the way, this library seems to be not bad - issuu.com. What did you think?
:~) Many thanks Oksana, yes, I've known the quiet place location and I put a sign for wandering people.
I used Berkeleys some time ago, trying to play the bass guitar, a well done site, yep. I need to return there again, thanks for your sharing (–:
I'm smiling today, firstly: I've passed my last exams (do not ask how can I know it–),secondly: tomorrow it's Saturday which means weekend.–D Is not another glee thing?
Is there a dog barking?-|
Hi Javier,
I see you are a real librarian! ;)
By the way, I also found an online university (the keyword is Berkeley). You can look up for it in the quiet place (you know the location).
