A rant about nothing! :D

It's been ages since I last "wrote" a blog. Also, I had been away from EC for a very long time. So, first I'd like to welcome myself back to MyEC. :D Second, as I'd like to start blogging again, ......hmmmm.... as I've really nothing on my mind to write about, I've decided to write about "nothing"! :D

Hold on! If you're expecting you're going to read a philosophical, or a logical, or let's say....hmmm... for example, an anatomical, a physiological, an astronomical, or a social account of "nothing", you, as you might have guessed by now, are absolutely wrong. :D

My dilemma is that I have always wanted to be a writer. The kind of a writer who writes best sellers and wins prizes for their every other book. However, when I sit down to write something, I never know what to write.

Stop! Before you tell me that's what people call a "writer's block". Why? Because only a writer could suffer from a "writer's block" and I'm not a writer, at least not yet.

Smile! If you have somehow managed to read the good for nothing blog of mine this far and now your good mood has already been ruined, put a smile on your face. Even a fake smile would do. Why? Because a study says that even if it's just a fake smile, it decreases stress. So, Happy smiling! :)

Hmmm....... What else? Shall I write more or stop here? What to do?

Oh, yeah!! I forgot to greet all the great teachers, bloggers, commentators, my friends and the rest of EC members because of whom EC is shining this brightly. Hello, Everyone! :)

Anyways, bye for now. I hope I'll "write" something really soon.

Happy writing to all the great writers out there! :)

  • My goodness... she is still pretending that she is not a good writer!  If all the not so good writers are like what you have described, then there remains no good writer at all.

Don't tell me that you blogged out of nothing.  Your mind is simply oozing with a lot of ideas dear Nida.

I have doubted it.  Your reply was just a defense mechanism to hide the real talent within you.  So humble to admit!

I don't believe that you didn't understand my comment.  You?  Of all the people in EC?  Goodness!  Where have all the brains gone? Lol

  • @Samuel,

Thank you for your constant encouragement! You know, I'm trying hard to become a good writer. I wish I could turn this dream of mine into reality very soon.

  • @Anonymous,

I wonder what made you think I was stern?! Beware, I still am and will always be! :D I wasn't stern because you wrote to me in Urdu, I was stern because I was shocked watching a kid addressing me so informally. hahaha

What a flattering comment you wrote, btw. Thank you for taking your time to read my blog and to appreciate my writing style. :D

Happy writing to you too as well. :)

  • @Lady Anne,

To be very honest girl, before replying to your comment I need to know how much your comment was influenced by friendly feelings? I also need to know if you really read the blog or just wrote a comment after counting the number of the words it contained? Your comment has confused me so much that I don't really know what to write in return. :D

Do you really think I'm enviable?!! Girl, I wish I could believe that. -_-

Thank you so much for always reading my blogs, no matter how boring and bad they are, and for being such a sincere friend. I owe you a great debt of gratitude, girl. :)

  • @Bob,

And I'm so glad to see you here, sir. Yeah, maybe one day you'd find out that Nida became a professional writer. Nothing is impossible in this world. :D

And I too remember how you encouraged me to write that. You've supported me throughout my stay here and I'm not going to forget that. I'll always be grateful to you for your kindness. Of course, I'll try my best to make my dream a reality. :)

    Thank you again, sir!

  • Here, I am sending you something meatier than Hunger Games series....

  • Tsk, tsk......this girl lost herself to her own world again.  Just drop that book and write a reply to my comment.  I don't care if you don't reply to others but me...omg!!!

I am waiting.  Don't make me wait longer

By the way, after you read that book, send it to my inbox, okay?  But if you have no time, it's alright.  Hunger Games series are not my type anyway.

I just wonder what interesting part does it possess that you are hooked to it.  It's like reading Harry Potter's books or Twilight Books.....girl, grow up!

Read geography, medicine and other professional books! :)

  • Thank you everyone for reading my blog and your kind comments. I'm much much obliged. I didn't expect that so many people would read my blog as I myself found it boring. Right now I'm busy reading The Hunger Games Series but after finishing the books I'll definitely get back to reply to each comment individually. Thank you again for your attention, encouragement and precious words.

  • You are on your way to be an amazing writer. Firstly, I’m amazed by the way of your writing and I was wiling to read more.

Let me tell you that I smiled a real smiling when you ask us to do so. It was not fake at all. You know why? Because you have the ability to drug us all to the point you want. This is what makes some writers special.
It’s not the point of what to write about as it’s how to present the idea or the topic you want to talk about.
There are many books which we can’t  end it up because the writer’s style was boring or complicated which drives the reader to lose his enjoyment.
OK Nida, I’m a fan of your writing and I will buy your future books. :D
Take me as a first buyer NIDA :D
  • @Expector Smith,

Yes, I'll try my best to write more blogs, God willing. Thank you so much for always encouraging members to do their best. It was a pleasant surprise to see you posting writing challenges like Tara. I'll definitely take part in them to improve my English.
