Dear friends, May peace upon you!
Below images are the pages of ‘just for Kids’ of the English monthly magazine ‘The Trend’. It is an Islamic value based magazine publishing in Sri Lanka, which is having international readers as well. I am having a response to manage the above ‘just for Kids’ pages.
I have requested from all of you to contribute articles, poems, quizzes, puzzles or any that are suitable for students who are in their secondary class / grade, between from 11 – 15 in age. I would be thankful by saying that many of our friends in My English Club has inquired on this matter and some started to contribute their participation. May All Mighty God Bless all of them.
Two articles of our friends have published in this issue of February 2012 / Hijra 1433 R. Awwal (Volume 2 Issue 2). One is ‘the math to get higher score’ from my beloved brother Mohammed Reda Benchikh (Ultimate) of Algeria and the ‘Caption for the Pic’ is by respected teacher Nadiyah of Indonesia. (Their names can be seen in those articles respectively).
In meantime, I have already received an article, a pic, illustrations and a word puzzle from respected members of My English Club for the next issue of March. I will publish their names immediately after the March issue was published.
I request from all of you to contribute articles for this magazine ‘The Trend’. This will be a great help to create a fondness and friendship among students who are living in different parts of this global village and will be a credit for ourselves in here and hereafter, In Allah’s willing.
SPECIAL REQUEST TO TEACHERS: Please encourage your students to write articles, poems etc. for the above page. It will be published with complete details of the Name of the Student, School / College and the Country respectively. I will post an image of the page to show it to your students.
I hope and expect adequate contributions from you and from your students as well.
Please be kind enough to send articles to the official mail address of the page: kdstrnd@gmail.com
