Impure soul makes mind negative. Negative mind makes you do or speak negatively. Resultantly, you have to eat humble pie at the end. In a nutshell, negativity of the mind is diseas.

If you've watched The Secret, it's said that a negative mind even attracts negative things. Try to stay positive in any case and good things are sure to happen :)
