A little angel

It was early for me to wake up on a holiday…It was 11.am.    my T.V was still working..I noticed ...I didn’t switch it off last night. The romantic movie which I was watching last night made me sleep early. As the hunger stared kicking in I gazed into kitchen.

After searching through the cupboards and refrigerator without any success I decided to go nearby shopping mall. I was running through the street. People seemed happy as it was a public holiday

As I entered into the store I walked towards the bakery section.I noticed the girl standing next to me. Because we both tried to take the same packet of  bread and she took her hand back as I already grabbed it. She was beautiful. I given my packet of bread to her…she smiled…and I took another packet of bread…I followed her unintentionally. I found her picking a big tray of egg. I did the same.  She looked at me smiled again.Wow.it was a mesmerizing smile…..

Suddenly I felt something... Something is holding my pants. It was a baby girl. She may be 3 or 4 years old. She looked like a little angel with sweet chubby cheeks and golden silky hair. She was looking around and weeping. Soon I realized that the girl is missing her parents. My heart started melting…yes…Little children have an ability make us feel.  I put my bread and egg tray on the shelf and took her in my hands.. tu tu tu tu tuuuu.I tried make her comfort. I promised her that I’m going to find her parents. It was like she somewhat believed me. She was directing me to some places where she believed her parents would be.

10 minutes passed we could not find her parents. She started crying again. I became in dilemma.

Suddenly she raised her hands towards the corner of the shop and asked me to put her down. She ran towards the corner .Her parents were there. They were searching for the baby. Her mother came up and hugged her tightly I found a relief on her father’s face .when I was watching the scene of family reunion her parents didn’t notice me in the crowd.

Mission accomplished!!!!!!!!

But.. Where is my bread??…where is my egg tray??Where is that beautiful girl?   huhhhhh..

I came out of the mall after my shopping. I was about to cross the road.. then I noticed that our little girl is coming out of the shopping mall with her parents..Her father was pulling trolley and mother was holding her hands and walking.  I waved my hands at her.

I saw her asking mom to release her hands. Then She ran to me and hugged my legs. She raised her head...looked at my face and smiled. I was shocked..  It was for a few second and she ran back to her mother. She was expressing her thanks to me in a cute way.  I felt something emotional… it was really unexpected especially when we elders forgetting to express gratitude..

Yes a smile without planning , accounting , natural smile ,the most beautiful man’s connective bridge . According to Victor Hugo says: Smile is the shortest distance between two people and nearest road for attracting hearts.

(the photo is my cousin the time of her birth to the earth :) she came with a smile )

  • Like any other blogs you have written, I loved it too! ^^

This blog made me smile, thanks :) I meant it when I say it :p

Thanks for noticing me about your new blog, now it brought a memory to our old days here and reminded me to your previous blog where you thought your colleague was talking to you while she was actually talking to someone else over the phone :p

And when you wrote "I felt something on my pants", that reminded me to the quote you used to have on your page saying something like "friendship is like wet on your pants, no one can see it but you can feel it" :p

Lesson learnt: Quick ask the girl's phone number before anything else :p
