A letter to a neighbor whose dog annoys you by barking at night?

Hi Mike,

It is nice writing to you. Hope you are enjoying your night shift job and life.

Hope you would not mind one thing; you should overlook your dog barks a lot at night time.

It is very difficult for me to take sound sleep. I am an office going person. I need sound sleep for at least 6 hours without which I am unable work at office. Due to lack of sleep, I yawn a lot at office hours. My boss has also already warned me for my laziness at workplace.

May I trust you as a good neighbor. I request you once again to find some good ways & trained your dog for not barking at peak sleeping hours.

Your cooperation is only source of tremendous relief.

That's a very civil way to deal with the problem, after this I'm sure your neighbor will have no choice but to accommodate your request. Politeness is always a good strategy!:)

Who will not do anything in respond to this polite letter? I am sure he will take care of his dog. Nice letter.

Very polite letter Garima :) Sometimes my neighbor's dogs bark too, but only for some hour, they don't annoy me. I hope that your neighbor do something and your problem will be fixed soon. :)
