Each morning I write a list of things I want to achieve in the day, it is called a "to do" list, simply because they are things I want to do.

Not everyone does it, but it helps me to stay focussed. 

I sometimes also write a long term to do list. On this list I write long term objectives, this includes things that take much longer to achieve. Once in my life, I wanted to take a break of usual life and take a look at monkey pot...deep in the jungle in Borneo.
