Sometimes It's Not What It Seems

My family loves cats. As far as I can remember, we always have cats in the house. No matter how annoying they can be sometimes, but they always chose our house to be their sanctuary. I guess we are just born lucky to be picked by them.

So it really bums me when I noticed that I'm allergic to cats, well to all furry animals actually (and I always say in the main chat room, to all furry animals and hairy men). But that doesn't stop me from admiring and loving cats in general.

So when I came back to

I often heard this fable from old people.

It tells of a pretty young girl who lived with her parents in a village. She possessed all the merits one could think of: she had a cheerful disposition, was always polite and respectful to elders. Her parents had a great helper in her because she did the chores quickly and properly without waiting to be reminded. A tip from my own experience

In my view for the better understanding of English vocabulary  one should refer a dictionary and get the meaning in  one's own mother tongue i.e, check the meaning of the particular word in your mother tongue because:

1.First of all this improves our mother tongue

2.We can remember the meaning for a longer time

thank you for sparing your time for reading my post and i would be glad to know if this post is informative

The man reclining on the back of arm chair, seems to be in slumber, gets a slight jerk to open his eyes.  “Where is she? She was right here moments ago, what I am doing in her house, when she isn't here.

He stands up and moves towards the door. He hears a soft voice behind his back, a baby's voice, the giggling voice, or may be the baby is about to cry. He rushes towards the baby without making any noise. The baby stares into his eyes, he picks up the baby, the baby touches his cheek with his sm

There is a belief, among many students, that some of us are just good writers and some of us are not and never will be. Nothing could be more wrong! Good or poor writing is the result of several factors:

  1. The training that begins at the elementary school level. Whether is it called communication arts, language arts or just plain English, the course work should follow a sequential curriculum. This means that teachers of English, and, ultimately, English writing skills, are well trained to teach it.

Delicious dishes really add flavour to holidays, or rather, no holiday is complete without enjoying the mouth-watering food. Food is part of holidays.

I'm not really a foodie, but I do cook and enjoy food, especially during the holiday season. It's said that you'll enjoy eating what you usually ate when you were a child. I entirely agree with that. I'll cook what I usually ate when I was young. One of my favorites is this dish: Lotus-root Sandwich (I'm not sure it's the proper English name for th
