I have just received the email announcing that MyEnglishClub will be closing on 30th September 2026, and I must say I was genuinely saddened by the news.
I joined this wonderful community many years ago, and I had the privilege of serving as a moderator for a period of time. Although I've been inactive in recent years, MyEnglishClub has always held a special place in my heart. It was much more than just a website—it was a welcoming community where people from all over the world came together to learn English, exchange ideas, and build genuine friendships.
I can only imagine how difficult this decision must have been after nearly twenty years of nurturing such a remarkable community. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the admin team and to everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make MyEnglishClub such a friendly, inspiring, and supportive place.
Being trusted as a moderator was a real honour, and it remains one of my fondest memories of being part of this community. I learned so much from working alongside the team and interacting with members from every corner of the world.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this community so special.
While the website may be closing, the friendships, experiences, and memories we've shared will remain with us for years to come.

I had a life here! I'm still visiting this site at times, reminiscing about my early days of EC. Well, to be honest, running this site is like flogging a dead horse now. Nothing can exist forever in this perishable world. It's time I quit this life.
